Saiku is an open-source semantic layer analytics platform that serves one cube model to Excel (MDX/XMLA), dashboards, and AI agents, built on Mondrian and Apache Calcite. It offers drag-and-drop browser analysis plus a typed REST surface and bundled saiku-mcp (an MCP server) so AI agents can query data without ever seeing MDX.
