Overview

Postgres MCP Pro is an open-source MCP server that helps users and AI agents manage Postgres throughout development. It offers database health analysis (index health, connection utilization, buffer cache, vacuum, replication lag), index tuning, EXPLAIN plan review with hypothetical index simulation, schema-aware SQL generation, and configurable read/write access control with safe SQL execution, including a read-only mode for development and production use.
