Overview
codemcp is an MCP tool that turns Claude Desktop into a pair-programming assistant: you ask Claude to implement features, fix bugs, and refactor a local codebase, and it edits files and runs tests directly, so you no longer copy code in and out of chat. Aimed at Claude Pro subscribers, it auto-accepts changes by default, forbids unrestricted shell (commands must be predeclared in codemcp.toml), and Git-versions all LLM edits for fine-grained rollback.
