Unity MCP acts as a bridge between AI assistants and your Unity Editor. Give your LLM tools to manage assets, control scenes, edit scripts, and automate tasks within Unity.

Overview

MCP for Unity bridges AI assistants and the Unity Editor through the Model Context Protocol. Any MCP client — Claude, Codex, VS Code, or local LLMs — can control the editor in natural language: create scenes and GameObjects, edit C# scripts, manage assets, run tests, profile, and build. It offers around 50 focused tool entrypoints, plus multi-instance routing and tool groups.
