Overview
WhipCode is an open-source coding agent with a desktop app, terminal UI, and web client. A shared daemon owns the work, so closing a window doesn't end the session. Agents can delegate recursively to subagents, search history and files in bounded slices to keep context manageable, and expose an execution tree, timeline, and model usage. Users choose models, set tool permissions, connect local or remote hosts, and extend agents with skills and MCP servers.
